There is an online petition you really should have signed by now�HERE - If not get your ass there and do it pronto!

We at AngryEmployee are all understandably quite devastated about the prospect of no Dedi servers and so here have launched this campaign to ask that 'ALL' fellow fraggers the world over to embrace the concept, we must unite and come together as one on the 10th November 2009. (MW2's Official release date)

PC COMMUNITY PLAY DAY COMBINED WITH A 24HR DEDICATED SERVER SHUT DOWN FOR MAXIMUM EFFECT

After many discussions in many forums we we have decided that one particular discussion with ibleedv20 in the Bash & Slash forums certainly makes a lot of sense and so we are full supporting his idea and concept of incorporating the community play day with the 24 hr shutdown.

The principals behind the two days are simple:

On the Nov 09th 2009 will see the launch of the Call Of Duty Community Play Day!

AngryEmployee will be adding to our server availability specially for this event thanks to assistance�and support�from XG Servers

The idea and logic behind COD COM Play Day! :

ibleedv20: "I can see the logic of the 24hr shutdown statement and the willingness to send a message. What I would like to see is a Community play day just prior to the shutdown.

What we do is play and that is what we should do. It might even be possible to count the #of players online for a particular time slot. One or two that includes timezones that accomodate all. IW would then see a snapshot of the traffic they would lose on a given day.With proper advance notice it could be done. Imagine the PR."

I say: That's exactly what this whole event is about... PR!!!! - We need to shake the branches and rattle the trees, what a better way than to all enjoy a max out the servers day - Overall Traffic to the master server and people online being the key - If you are working, "Leave your home PC in a server in spectate"  If your home all day but can't frag, you guessed it - "Leave your home PC in a server in spectate" !!!

Im guessing you get the message

The traffic build up ensures that once the clock reaches 00:00 Nov10th Infinity Wards all important MW2 launch day, We hit the diss-connect and exit buttons and server admins go to work on shutting down their servers.

This will throw massive connection losses @ the IW master servers and as each Country and Continent follows suit as their clocks reach 00:00 the shutdown emphasises just how wide spread the ill feeling toward No Dedi Servers really is.

24Hr Dedi Shutdown is in effect a strike : Not a hate IW campaign, Not a Stop playing COD forever Statment!

Our numbers are growing by the day and for that we are extremly greatful.

We still however have a great deal to do and little time to do it, "WE NEED YOU!" "A CALL TO ARMS" Blurt this message out wherever you can, help spread the word. Forums, news papers, chat rooms, in game, wherever you are and whatever your doing

"Make this day count for something! It may well be your last real chance to stand up and be heard in the corridoors and offices of IW!"
